XXIX Premio Sala El Brocense opens for entries with €25,000 in prizes
The Diputación Provincial de Cáceres has announced the 29th edition of the Premio de Artes Plásticas Sala El Brocense, a competition aimed at promoting contemporary plastic arts. The prize pool totals €25,000, distributed as a first prize of €10,000, a second of €6,000, a third of €4,000, and two fourth prizes of €2,500 each. All awarded works become part of the Diputación's art collection, one of Spain's most significant contemporary art holdings. Previous winners include Belén Mazuecos, Juliana González, and Kepa Garraza. Artists may submit up to two original, previously unprized works on any theme. Submissions are accepted via www.mundoarti.com until October 16, 2026. Selected works will be exhibited at Sala de Arte El Brocense in November 2026, when the jury's decision is announced.
