XLI Vila de Puçol Painting Competition 2026 Opens for Entries

The Puçol City Council in Valencia has announced the 41st edition of the Vila de Puçol Painting Competition, a longstanding event that has promoted artistic creation for over four decades. Open to any artist, each participant may submit one work of any technique or medium, with dimensions between 60 x 80 cm and 160 x 160 cm. Entries must be delivered or sent to the Casa de Cultura de Puçol (Santa Teresa, 10) by September 15, 2026 at 20:00. The venue is closed in August and on September 7–8. Three prizes are offered: €5,000 (first), €2,500 (second), and €1,500 (third). Awarded works become property of the municipality. Selected works will be exhibited at the Casa de Cultura from October 2 to November 7, 2026, open weekdays from 18:00 to 21:00. Unselected works can be retrieved from September 21, 2026; unclaimed works after two months may be disposed of by the council.
