Vincent Solis Selected as 2026 Critical Writing Fellow by Contemporary Art Month

Contemporary Art Month (CAM), a San Antonio organization that supports regional artists through exhibitions and events, has chosen Vincent Solis as its 2026 Critical Writing Fellow. The fellowship, established in 2022 with Glasstire, includes a $500 award and publication of Solis's writing. Solis, originally from Alamo, holds a BA in Art History & Criticism from the University of Texas San Antonio, focusing on contemporary Latin American art. His background includes curation, such as the 2024 exhibition 'Dr. Ellen Riojas Clark: Imagínate' at the San Antonio Public Library, and writing about art shows like Alexandria Canchola's solo exhibition. He has held roles at Ruby City and the McNay Art Museum, where he currently works as Visitor Experience and Rentals Supervisor. Previous fellows include Brianna Glass (2025), Seyde Garcia (2024), Kayla Padilla (2023), and Ashley Allen (2022). CAM's activities take place throughout March 2026.
