Urban Soul Project Wins GRAIL Awards 2026 Architectural Studio of the Year

Thessaloniki-based firm Urban Soul Project was named Architectural Studio of the Year at the GRAIL Awards 2026. Founded in 2009, the multidisciplinary office specializes in hospitality design, crafting non-linear, choreographed atmospheres that blend material sensitivity with local narratives. Key projects include the 35,500-square-meter Athenaeum InterContinental Athens (2024), the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, Omeon Mykonos, ERGON projects in London, Athens, and Thessaloniki, Domes of Elounda and Domes of Chania in Crete, Courtyard by Marriott in Ghent, and Groningen City Hotel in the Netherlands. The studio integrates architecture, brand identity, and place, using natural materials like timber, marble, and stone. Their work has also been recognized by AHEAD Europe, Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards, German Design Awards, International Hotel and Property Awards, and Architizer A+ Awards.
