TAI Body Theatre Wins 24th Taishin Arts Award Grand Prize

On May 30, in Taipei, TAI Body Theatre was honored with the Annual Grand Prize at the 24th Taishin Arts Awards, receiving NTD 1.5 million for their work 'qaqay', which incorporates indigenous language and physical expression. The Visual Arts Prize was awarded to LuxuryLogico for 'Cosmic Sketches—The LuxuryLogico Exhibition', while Body Phase Studio took home the Performing Arts Prize for 'Oh! Baby 2025', each earning NTD 1 million. These three winners were chosen from a pool of 16 shortlisted projects. Founded in 2002, the Taishin Arts Award is regarded as one of Taiwan's top accolades in contemporary art and culture. The final jury was led by theater critic CHEN Cheng-Hsi and included notable figures such as CHEN Tai-Song and Elisabeth Millqvist.
