Styria Artist-in-Residence Program Announces 2026 Stipend Opportunities in Graz

The Styrian provincial government, under Culture Minister Dr. Karlheinz Kornhäusl, is offering Styria-Artist-in-Residence (St.A.i.R.) stipends for 2026. These are aimed at emerging international artists and art theorists interested in engaging with the local art scene in Graz. Selected by a jury, recipients will receive a monthly allowance of EUR 1,100 for living expenses and accommodation in a baroque seminary in central Graz, with a minimum stay of two months. Applications, including a CV, project description, and portfolio, must be submitted via email by August 5, 2025. Participants are responsible for their own travel, material costs, and insurance.
