Rossella Biscotti has been named the recipient of the BelgianArtPrize for 2027. The artist was chosen from over sixty nominees and will develop and showcase new creations at Brussels' Bozar - Centre for Fine Arts from April to June 2027. Organized by La Jeune Peinture Belge – De Jonge Belgische Schilderkunst, this biennial honor recognizes contemporary visual artists based in Belgium. Established in 1950, the prize seeks to promote Belgian artistic talent and emphasize the significance of their current work. Since 2017, selection has involved a panel of approximately forty experts from Belgium's art community rather than an open submission process.
