Prix Marcel Duchamp 2019 Shortlist Announced

The four nominees for the 2019 Prix Marcel Duchamp have been announced by the Centre Pompidou in collaboration with the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art (ADIAF). The artists in contention are Eric Baudelaire, Katinka Bock, Marguerite Humeau, and the team of Ida Tursic & Wilfried Mille. This esteemed award, which carries a cash prize of €35,000, is among the most respected art accolades in France. Previous recipients include Kader Attia, Cyprien Gaillard, Melik Ohanian, and Clément Cogitore. The winner will be revealed on October 14, 2019, following an exhibition of the nominees' works from October 9, 2019, to January 6, 2020, at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The internal jury responsible for the selection features notable figures such as Bernard Blistène and Joao Fernandes.
