Pozzuoli Bids for Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2028 with Bradisismo-Inspired Project
Pozzuoli has put forth its bid for the title of Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2028 with the initiative 'La città delle fragilità creative' (The City of Creative Fragilities), which utilizes the geological occurrence of bradisismo as a symbol for modern-day issues. This proposal was submitted to the Ministry of Culture and comes after the fifth edition of Panorama in September 2025. The municipality that wins will be awarded €1 million for artistic endeavors.
