Nike design chief Martin Lotti joins Dezeen Awards 2026 as judge

Nike chief design officer Martin Lotti has joined Dezeen Awards 2026 as a judge. With nearly three decades at Nike, Lotti oversees brand, product, and retail design across all sport and lifestyle categories. He describes his mission as "to solve problems and make people fly." Lotti has overseen Olympics, World Cup, and Jordan brand projects. He considers his most important project to be "the creative culture and community around design," emphasizing that "a good designer is a good listener first." Lotti selected five key projects: NikeAir_Lab at Milan Design Week 2026, Hollywood Keepers Kits for the 2026 World Cup, Nike Radical AirFlow (2025), London Olympic Games 2012 (featuring the Volt colorway), and Nike Kyoto (2002). Shortlists will be announced in late September. Dezeen Awards 2026 is in partnership with Trimble.
