Napoli on the Road Tops 2026 50 Top Pizza World Ranking, First UK Winner
Napoli on the Road, located in London, has secured the top position in the 2026 50 Top Pizza World ranking, marking the first time a British pizzeria has achieved this honor. Chef Michele Pascarella, who started his journey in 2016 with a Piaggio Ape van, later expanded to Chiswick, Richmond, and Soho. In 2023, he earned the title of the world’s best pizza chef, while his restaurant previously dominated the 50 Top Pizza Europa ranking for three consecutive years. Its sister establishment, 50 Kalò, received the award for Best Fried Food. The guide, which evaluates 100 pizzerias across 36 countries, relies on nearly 1,000 inspectors. Una Pizza Napoletana in New York came in second, followed by Confine in Milan at third, and I Masanielli and Seu Pizza Illuminati sharing fourth place.
