Montauk Sofa Hosts AZ Awards 2026 Gala in Toronto

Montauk Sofa served as the presenting partner for the AZ Awards 2026 gala, held at St. Lawrence Market North in Toronto. The evening began at Montauk's new downtown Toronto showroom, a four-storey space designed by Danny Chartier and Joseph Miller of Cohlmeyer Architecture. The showroom featured limewashed walls, warm wood floors, and works by emerging and established Canadian designers. At the gala, Montauk created gathering spaces throughout the venue, including Antoine Outdoor lounge chairs at the entrance upholstered in floral fabric, a second lounge setting near the DJ booth with brick-coloured Antoine chairs, and a central installation pairing the Lewis sofa in leather with the modular Jill sofa. Audrey Swivel Chairs in muted botanical textile completed the composition. The event celebrated the year's most compelling projects, products, and ideas in architecture and design.
