Monopol Magazine Offers Ticket Giveaway for 2026 German Jazz Prize Ceremony in Bremen

Monopol magazine is running a ticket giveaway for the German Jazz Prize ceremony on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event will take place during the jazzahead! festival in Bremen, a long-standing international jazz meeting point. Established in 2021, the German Jazz Prize recognizes not only individual artists but also the broader ecosystem where jazz is created and circulated, including albums, compositions, journalistic works, and festivals. For the current edition, approximately 1,200 submissions were received. A jury comprising representatives from various sectors of the jazz scene reviewed these submissions in multiple stages to determine the winners. The ceremony will be hosted by Thelma Buabeng and Götz Bühler, with the Moses Yoofee Trio announced as the first live act. To enter the draw for one pair of tickets, participants must send an email with the subject line "Jazzpreis" along with their first and last name to info@monopol-magazin.de. The winner will receive a code redeemable via the ticket partner. The prize highlights jazz as a scene, network, and experiment, bringing together artists, curators, journalists, and organizers both on stage and in the audience.
