M-AAA Opens Call for 2027 Artistic Innovations Grants

award · 2026-08-26

The Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) is inviting applications for its 2027 Artistic Innovations grants, which aim to support creative projects in areas like dance, music, literature, design, visual arts, folklife, media, and theater. These grants, which can go up to $15,000, focus on new artistic works and community involvement. Unlike organizations, individual artists don’t need matching funds. This cycle, M-AAA will award at least 18 grants, ensuring every state in its six-state region—Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas—gets at least one for an individual and two for organizations. Applications are due by September 24 at 5 p.m. CDT, with winners revealed on December 18. For more info, check the M-AAA website.
