ISOCARP Women in Planning Awards to Debut as Standalone Ceremony in Glasgow

In November, Glasgow will host the inaugural standalone ceremony for the Women in Planning Awards, organized by the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP). This event will feature a full day of sessions and activities, representing a significant advancement for the initiative. Nominations are currently being accepted in three categories: Inspiring Individuals, Inclusive and Equitable Organisational Culture, and Gender-Responsive Planning Practice, Policy & Research. The deadline for submissions is set for September 8, 2026, with entry fees varying from 500 to 4000 euros based on the award category. These awards aim to celebrate and enhance gender equality in planning, recognizing those who advocate for inclusive practices and reflecting ISOCARP's dedication to empowering women in the field and promoting fair urban development.
