Irys Photos Black & White Photography Contest Announces Winners with Leica Sponsorship

The second Irys Photos Spotlight competition, focused on monochrome photography, has concluded with Mateusz Kuca named as the winner. Kuca's image, captured in snowy Krakow, earned the top prize of a Leica Q3 Monochrom camera. The contest, sponsored by Leica, was judged by Nina Papiorek and Fred Mortagne, who selected works emphasizing light, shadow, and narrative. Honorable mentions were awarded to nine other photographers, including Victor Aries-Poinssot, Max Masters, Yannis Rousounelos, Siegfried Hansen, Enamul Kabir, Andrea Tunbridge, Another Statistic, Quim Vilar, and Eric Moerschel. The event highlights the ongoing relevance of black-and-white photography in contemporary visual arts.
