How Long Gone Podcast Launches 'Goneies' Awards at Racket in Chelsea

Chris Black and Jason Stewart, hosts of the How Long Gone podcast, introduced the first-ever "Goneies" awards on Tuesday at Racket, a Chelsea performance venue in New York known for indie rock, punk, and electronic shows. The space was transformed with green-and-blue branding for the event, which awarded silver chalices to a roster of internet-famous figures. Winners included Mary Beth Barone (It Girl of the Year), Mark Ronson (Best Dressed), John Early (Ally of the Year), Alison Roman (Best Chef Who Doesn't Work at a Restaurant), Charli XCX (Album of the Year), Delaney Rowe (Best Internet Personality), Lenwich (Best Normal Restaurant), Chris Black (Gaybaiter of the Year), and Andy Baraghani (The Hunter Seagroves Award for Physical Fitness). The evening featured live performances by Kevin Morby, Blondshell, and J Mascis on the same stage where winners gave speeches. Guests included Jacqueline Novak, Joey Dardano, Nicky Campbell, Emily Sundberg, Dan Rosen, Brian Park, and others. The event mirrored the podcast's weekly format of celebrity conversations, playful jabs, and musical outros, now exceeding 1,000 episodes.
