Henry Julier Joins as Juror for AN’s 2026 Best of Products Awards

Henry Julier, a New York-based industrial designer, has been named a juror for The Architect’s Newspaper’s 2026 Best of Products Awards. The awards, open through July 24, celebrate innovation across building materials, furniture, lighting, and more. Julier’s recent work includes Gemini, a light featured at The Future Perfect’s DUDD LITE show during NYCxDESIGN, and Woven Structures, a collaboration with USM Modular Furniture that integrates Danish paper cord. He emphasizes designing for industry, a curiosity about fabrication methods, and a mantra of “simple things done well.” Julier seeks submissions that show sensitivity to people and context, rational production, and advancement of design dialogue. He previously worked as lead industrial designer at Standard Issue and has collaborated with Areaware, Herman Miller, and the Eames Institute.
