Haystack Mountain School Announces First Artist Grant Recipients
The Haystack Mountain School of Crafts has selected eight emerging artists for its inaugural Artist Grant Initiative. Supported by the Windgate Foundation, each recipient received $10,000 in unrestricted funding and participated in an online mentorship program with artists Vivian Chiu and Cedric Mitchell. The 2025 awardees were chosen by jurors Curtis Arima and Annie Evelyn through a competitive process. The artists work across various craft disciplines including painting, ceramics, glass, metalworking, and furniture design.
