February 2026 Art Prize Winners and Upcoming Opportunities Announced

Multiple art awards have announced winners and shortlists for February 2026. The John Ruskin Prize awarded Duncan Cameron £3000 for his sculpture Stratigraphy, with additional prizes going to Kanmi Olukanni, Lena Heinrich, and Henny Burnett. The Royal Philharmonic Society Awards shortlist includes conductor John Wilson and soprano Louise Alder, with winners to be announced on March 12 at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall. The Pastel Society recognized Sheila Goodman, Benjamin Hope, Sarah Manolescue, and Miles Elliott. The CHANEL Next Prize awarded €100,000 grants to ten international artists including Ambrose Akinmusire and Payal Kapadia. The Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize shortlisted Jane Evelyn Atwood, Weronika Gęsicka, Amak Mahmoodian, and Rene Matić. Georgina Duncan won the Women's Prize for Playwriting for Sapling. Several upcoming opportunities have deadlines in late February and March, including the Papatango New Writing Prize, Charlotte Aitken Trust Awards, Belfast Photo Festival, Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year, and Raw Umber Studios Image Reference Prize.
