Faro Santander Opens Second Edition of Creation Grants for Cantabrian Artists
The second edition of the Ayudas a la Creación grant programme for artists in Cantabria has been initiated by Faro Santander, a project of Fundación Banco Santander. Each chosen project will receive 10,000 euros along with a six-month programme running from January to June 2027. To qualify, applicants must either be born in, reside in, or practice in Cantabria and must commit to participating fully; legal entities are not eligible. Applications will be accepted until 9 November 2026 at 17:00, with results announced by 14 December 2026. Candidates need to provide both a career and project dossier. Selected individuals must submit compliance certificates from Agencia Tributaria and Seguridad Social. A public presentation is planned for September 2027, with selection based on a compliance review and evaluation by an independent jury.
