Editorial Almuzara Opens Call for Fifth Painting Prize with €10,000 Award
Almuzara Editorial has initiated its fifth painting competition, inviting submissions from September 1 to October 15, 2026. This contest is open to artists aged 18 and older, regardless of nationality, who reside in Spain. Submitted artworks must be connected to literature or books and should adhere to the figurative art style. Digital pieces and multi-component installations are not eligible. Entries must not have been awarded in other competitions or be under consideration elsewhere. The dimensions should range from a minimum of 90 cm on the shorter side to a maximum of 200 × 200 cm. Applicants need to provide an authorship form and a JPG file (up to 4 MB). Finalists will be announced by the jury selected by Almuzara in the second week of November 2026. The winner will receive €10,000, and the jury's decision will be conclusive. The winning artwork will become the property of Almuzara.
