Diego Marcon Wins 2026 ACACIA Prize for Contemporary Italian Art
Artist Diego Marcon has received the 2026 ACACIA Prize for his 2010 video work 'salut! hallo! hello!'. The award, established in 2003 by collector Gemma De Angelis Testa through the ACACIA association, recognizes Italian contemporary artists. Marcon's winning piece will join the ACACIA Collection, which has been donated to Milan's Museo del Novecento since 2015 and currently includes 40 works by 28 Italian artists. The award ceremony is scheduled for April 9, 2026, at the Museo del Novecento, with the video displayed during Milan Art Week until April 19.
