Dezeen Awards Showcases Seven Chinese Cultural Architecture Projects
Dezeen Awards has highlighted seven cultural and civic architecture projects in China as examples for its 2026 Regional Showcases. The selected projects, previously shortlisted in past awards editions, include Chapel of Sound by Open Architecture near Beijing, The Seaside Pavilion by GN Architects on Chaishan island, AYDC Public Art Center by Atelier Xi in Guiyang, Hengqin Culture and Art Complex by Atelier Apeiron in Zhuhai, Beijing City Library by Snøhetta, Quzhou Stadium by MAD Architects, and Drop-Stop by Aptdotapt on Yandang Mountain. Dezeen Awards now allows entries to also be considered for Regional Showcases, which will feature top projects in Asia Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and the Americas. The early entry deadline is March 25, 2026.
