Danish Art Critics Awards Honor Gaza Biennale Pavilion and Bloomsbury Exhibition
At Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen, the Danish Art Critics Association (AICA Danmark) hosted its annual awards ceremony. The prize for exhibition of the year was awarded to Nivaagaards Malerisamling for showcasing the Bloomsbury group. Other nominees included Larissa Sansour's 'These Moments Will Disappear Too' and a joint exhibition featuring Ebba Carstensen. The accolade for art event of the year recognized the Danish pavilion at the Gaza Biennale, curated by All all all, with Klara Li Scheutz and Sif Lindblad at the helm. Mathias Danbolt was honored with the art publication of the year award for 'Tropaganda – Kunst, kolonialisme og kampe om historien.' Additionally, Torben Weirup received a special recognition for his extensive contributions to art criticism. Each winner was awarded 15,000 kroner and a graphic piece by Hansina Iversen.
