Cultura Inquieta Announces 100 Finalists for 'De Toda La Vida' Photography Contest
Cultura Inquieta, in collaboration with Iberdrola, has selected 100 finalists for its photography competition titled 'De Toda La Vida.' The contest, which ran from January 14 to February 15, 2026, invited submissions capturing enduring aspects of daily life, such as memory, traditions, and personal connections. From over 10,000 entries, the editorial team chose 100 images, each accompanied by explanatory texts from different authors. Public voting for the finalists will take place from March 27 to April 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Spanish peninsular time, allowing participants to select their favorite works by clicking a heart icon beneath each entry. There is no limit on votes per person within a 24-hour period, though Cultura Inquieta reserves the right to disqualify any suspicious voting activity. From the 100 finalists, 14 winners will be chosen: seven through public vote and seven by the contest jury. Prize money totals 2,000 euros, distributed as 300 euros for first place, 200 euros for second, and 100 euros each for five special mentions. Additionally, an itinerant group exhibition is planned across multiple Spanish cities, featuring the selected images and texts, along with an expanded curation of standout submissions. The contest emphasizes themes of continuity and heritage, with finalist works including depictions of everyday scenes like family gatherings, traditional festivals, and rural landscapes, as shared by participants on social media platforms.
