CASETA Announces 2026 Award Winners at San Antonio Symposium
At the CASETA symposium held from June 19-21 at the Witte Museum in San Antonio, several prestigious awards were announced for 2026. Bonnie Campbell, a founding member, received the Distinguished Service Award, having previously won it in 2010. Cheryl and Kevin Vogel were honored with the William and Linda Reaves Lifetime Achievement Award. The late Peggy and Donald Vogel were posthumously recognized with a Special Retrospective Lifetime Achievement Award. The Houston Earlier Texas Art Group received the Bill and Mary Cheek Patron Award, while the Old Jail Art Center was awarded for the exhibition "Texas Moderns: Dickson Reeder." Additionally, Melissa Mednicov and Michael Henderson were recognized for their publication "Monumental: The Art of David Adickes."
