Austrian Ministry Announces 2027 International Studio Residency Grants for Artists

The Austrian Federal Ministry for Housing, Art, Culture, Media, and Sport is offering studio residency grants for 2027 to support Austrian artists in visual arts, photography, and media art. Eligible applicants must be Austrian citizens or permanent residents, excluding students and those with other long-term federal grants. Residencies of 2 to 4 months are available in Accra, Helsinki, London, New York, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, and Vilnius, with monthly stipends ranging from €1,700 to €2,100 and travel allowances.
