Angélica Arbulú Wins 2026 Paula Riff Award
Angélica Arbulú has been honored with the 2026 Paula Riff Award by the Center for Photographic Art and Lenscratch for her distinctive visual style. Juror Tarrah von Lintel chose her from a vast pool of applicants. Arbulú pursued photography at the Center for Visual Arts in Madrid and earned a Master's in Photographic Projects from PHotoEspaña. She has gained insights from esteemed professionals and has been selected for the New York Art Triennial Artist Residency in 2025, as well as the Photography generator at the Los Angeles Center of Photography in 2026. Her work, which merges photography with over two decades of gender-focused initiatives for the UN, has been showcased worldwide, and she refers to it as 'quiet art.'
