AISC IDEAS Awards 2027: Steel design deadline August 31
The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) is calling for entries for the 2027 IDEAS Awards, with a deadline of August 31, 2026. The awards recognize innovative structural steel design across five categories: Constructability, Sustainable Design and Construction, and others. A new IDEAS|next Award targets projects still in the design phase that have a client and a designated site. Winning teams gain national exposure in publications, digital platforms, and at NASCC: The Steel Conference. AISC director of architecture Nima Balasubramanian emphasized the honor of spotlighting premier U.S. steel projects, from iconic landmarks to smaller innovative works. There is no entry fee.
