29th PINTCA National Painting Competition Opens for Submissions

The 29th Certamen Nacional de Pintura Ciudad de Antequera (PINTCA) is now accepting entries until October 18, 2026. Organized by the Comunidad de Propietarios del Polígono Industrial de Antequera and backed by Fundación Unicaja, the competition awards €7,500 in prizes: €4,000 for first prize, €2,500 for second, and €1,000 for the special Antequera theme prize. Spanish residents over 18 may submit one original painting (73×60 cm to 200×200 cm). Past winners include Javier Calleja and Ana Barriga. Selected works will be exhibited at the Pinacoteca Andaluza Ciudad de Antequera from November 28, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with the award ceremony on November 27, 2026.
