22 Projects Shortlisted for 2026 Cultura + Impresa Award Highlighting Business-Cultural Partnerships

The 13th edition of the Premio Cultura + Impresa has announced its shortlist of 22 projects, showcasing collaborations between Italy's cultural sector and business community. The award, established in 2013 and organized by Federculture and The Round Table, serves as an important platform examining how cultural initiatives can enhance corporate reputation, competitiveness, and community engagement. Submissions for the 2026 competition originated from 15 Italian regions, with Lombardy, Piedmont, and Emilia-Romagna submitting the highest number of proposals, followed by Lazio, Tuscany, and Puglia. The shortlisted projects represent diverse cultural formats including exhibitions, festivals, artist residencies, contemporary art parks, and corporate museums. Contemporary visual arts, photography, and performance art emerge as particularly fertile ground for cooperative ventures between companies, artists, and cultural institutions. According to Andrea Cancellato, President of Federculture, the selected initiatives demonstrate how business-culture partnerships can drive innovation and social cohesion while improving quality of life and regional competitiveness. The award ceremony will take place on July 2, 2026 at Milan's MEET Digital Culture Center, where winners will be announced during a workshop celebrating successful cultural-business synergies. The competition highlights that while traditional art forms dominate current collaborations, digital innovation and artificial intelligence applications in cultural projects remain relatively unexplored areas.
