2026 International Pet Photography Awards Finalists Revealed

The 2026 International Pet Photography Awards have revealed their finalists, showcasing 4,220 submissions from 48 nations across 12 distinct categories. This year introduces new categories such as Commissioned Portfolio, In-Camera Artistry, Phone, and Studio, in addition to established ones like Action, Canine Portrait, and Feline Portrait. Finalists in each category consist of the top five entries based on the highest combined scores from their three best submissions, while overall finalists are determined by the top five scores across any category. A judging panel of 27 experts, including Alex Cearns (Australia), Alice Loder (UK), and Amy Johnson (USA), assessed the works. The winners, including the title of International Pet Photographer of the Year, will be revealed during a live Zoom event on August 1, 2026, at 6 A.M. AEST, with registration open to the public on the IPPA website.
