2026 Environmental Photography Award Winners Announced
The winners of the 2026 Environmental Photography Award were revealed by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, which received around 10,000 entries across five categories. Britta Jaschinski earned the highest accolade for her piece 'Handprint on Sea Turtle,' addressing the issue of wildlife trafficking. Arnaud Farré's 'Spirits of the Falls' captured the Forests category at Iguazu Falls, while Fernando Faciole's 'Born for the Ocean, Fated to the Flames' showcased confiscated shark fins in São Paulo, winning in Humanity vs Nature. Henley Spiers took the Ocean category with 'Shearwater's Dilemma,' and Vadim Makhorov won for Polar Regions with 'The Gathering.' Doug Gimesy was honored with the Public Award for 'Koalas are Dying for You to Slow Down,' and Farré also received the Student's Choice Award. Selected works will be displayed in Monaco and featured in a published book.
