Venice in Autumn: Exhibitions and Independent Spaces to See Before the 2026 Biennale Closes

Jan Fabre has made history as the first living artist to make an intervention at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco with his installation, The Quiet Source, which will be on display until 22 November 2026. This exhibition features three bronze sculptures that engage with the masterpieces of Tintoretto. Meanwhile, Anish Kapoor's foundation is hosting an exhibition at Palazzo Manfrin, open until 31 October, which includes approximately one hundred models and sculptures. At SMAC San Marco Art Centre, works by Lee Ufan and Alighiero Boetti can be viewed until 22 November. The Palestine Museum US is showcasing Gaza – No Words – See The Exhibit at Palazzo Mora, featuring intricately hand-embroidered tatreez panels, also running until 22 November. The Holy See Pavilion, curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Ben Vickers, features contributions from artists like Patti Smith and FKA Twigs, along with additional exhibitions showcasing works by Nikima Jagudajev, Rachel Youn, Angela Brandys, and others.
