Trahan Architects Completa la Cappella in Mattoni alla Loyola University di New Orleans
La Loyola University di New Orleans ha inaugurato la Cappella di Sant'Ignazio e il Centro Jesuita Gayle e Tom Benson, progettati da Trahan Architects. Situata nel quad storico dell'università, la struttura cilindrica copre 4.625 piedi quadrati e incorpora mattoni testurizzati che completano lo stile Tudor-Gotico del campus, introducendo al contempo un elemento moderno. La cappella mira a servire come spazio per la riflessione spirituale e eventi comunitari. I contributi di Marchita Mauck per gli aspetti liturgici, Tillotson Design Associates per l'illuminazione e Threshold Acoustics per il suono sono stati fondamentali. Il design è stato guidato da Trey Trahan FAIA e dal suo team, con fotografie di Timothy Hursley.
