Tarshito Brings Four Decades of Travel and Spiritual Research to Rutigliano's Museo Civico Archeologico
Nicola Strippoli, who hails from Corato, Bari, was born on 13 August 1952 and completed his architecture degree at the University of Florence in 1979. During a visit to India, he was given the name Tarshito by Osho Rajneesh. In the 1980s, he partnered with designer Shama to establish Galleria Speciale in Bari. His exhibition titled Sotto i nostri piedi il cielo. Archeologie della trasformazione is currently on display at Museo Civico Archeologico Grazia e Pietro Di Donna in Rutigliano until 31 December, under the curation of Sandra Sivilli and Silvana Annicchiarico. The exhibition showcases ancient artifacts, installations, and performances. Tarshito collaborates with Pippo Moresca and Oscar Granja, engaging with global communities to explore art as a sacred offering, viewing home as an inner space regardless of physical location.
