La guida alle mostre di Southwest Contemporary per l'autunno 2026 presenta trentasei eventi in otto stati, sullo sfondo delle elezioni di metà mandato. La Border Biennial 2026, intitolata Imagining the Border, inizierà il 4 settembre 2026 presso l'El Paso Museum of Art e il Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez, proseguendo fino al 2 maggio 2027. L'evento presenta trentuno artisti e due collettivi, e funge da fulcro per l'evento Sutura in programma dal 19 al 22 novembre 2026.
