Sculture in Campo Marks 10 Years with New Works by John David O'Brien and Vittorio Corsini

On Saturday, 19 September 2026, the international contemporary sculpture park Sculture in Campo, established by Lucilla Catania in Bassano in Teverina, will mark its tenth anniversary. The celebration will feature the unveiling of two site-specific installations: Il sole in gabbia by John David O'Brien and Ascolta by Vittorio Corsini. Additionally, Spot al Rudere. Passaggi 1, showcasing the works of Claudia Peill and Daniela Perego, will be displayed until 31 October. Catania reflected on the project's roots in art, land, and animals, mentioning the difficulties faced in managing the independent initiative with limited backing from the Comune di Bassano in Teverina. In 2022, the park transitioned to a Third Sector Association, enabling donations and participation in calls. Future plans include a Summer school and ongoing artistic research, with exhibitions scheduled for 2026 and 2027.
