Roberto Floreani's 'La Via Astratta' at GASC, Milan: Abstract Painting as Spiritual Threshold
Roberto Floreani's upcoming solo exhibition, titled 'La Via Astratta,' will take place at GASC – Galleria d'Arte Sacra dei Contemporanei di Villa Clerici in Milan from 5 October to 8 November 2026. Curated by Luigi Codemo, the show will showcase more than twenty artworks, featuring both large pieces and new canvases that delve into the relationship between abstract painting and the sacred. Over his forty-year career, Floreani has developed a technique using geometric shapes and a meticulous layering approach, resulting in rich surfaces that blend earthy hues with vivid colors. The exhibition will display works from various series, including 'Ritmati,' 'Costellazioni,' and 'Soglie,' following his 2025 project at Museo Diocesano di Vicenza.
