La mostra 'Weekdays in Arcadia' di Ragnar Kjartansson apre alla Goodwood Art Foundation
Ragnar Kjartansson, artista islandese, presenterà la sua prima importante mostra nel Regno Unito in oltre dieci anni presso la Goodwood Art Foundation. Intitolata 'Weekdays in Arcadia', la mostra inizierà il 27 novembre 2026 e proseguirà fino al 12 aprile 2027. Esporrà opere recenti, tra cui l'installazione video a sei canali 'No Tomorrow' (2022), creata in collaborazione con Margrét Bjarnadóttir e Bryce Dessner, oltre a 'Guilt and Fear' (2022) e 'Weekdays in Arcadia' (2025). Inoltre, una nuova opera all'aperto, 'Nightmare', esplorerà i temi dell'orrore, insieme a 'Epic Waste of Love and Understanding' (2023). La fondazione, inaugurata a maggio 2025, presenta opere di vari artisti.
