Radis Brings Iván Argote's Piazza del Chafleo to Bene Vagienna, Cuneo Province
On 11 October 2026, the third installment of Radis, a public art initiative in Cuneo, will debut in Bene Vagienna with Iván Argote's installation titled Piazza del Chafleo. This piece, which has been in development since 2016, includes a square named after a fictional term, a tiered seating arrangement, a curved bench, an imaginary fountain, and a large golden pigeon. Curated by Marta Papini, this edition emphasizes community over nature. Established in 2024 by Fondazione per l'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT and Fondazione CRC, Radis has previously occurred in Rittana (2024) and Dogliani (2025). Additionally, the Museo Civico Archeologico will showcase La mano sinistra del buio until 6 December 2026, featuring contemporary art inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin.
