Pietrasanta Exhibition Honors Gallerist Piero Cavellini at Galleria Giovanni Bonelli

The exhibition "Piazza Duomo – Occasioni d'incontro" at Galleria Giovanni Bonelli in Pietrasanta pays tribute to gallerist Piero Cavellini, who passed away in 2025. Organized by his heirs, Barbara and Alessandro Cavellini, and curated by Chiara Guidi, the event delves into Cavellini's relationships within contemporary art. He was active in Versilia during the mid-1970s and operated a gallery in Brescia starting in 1974, where he combined exhibitions with publishing efforts. Spanning two locations, the exhibition showcases works, photographs, and documents from artists such as Pier Paolo Calzolari, G. Achille Cavellini, and Mimmo Paladino. Additionally, a dedicated wall highlights sculptor Antonio Trotta, reflecting Cavellini's artistic connections, along with artists from the Quaderni di Via Pastrengo.
