Pasolini the Painter: Rarely Seen Works at Antica Grancia di Serre di Rapolano
A new exhibition titled "Pasolini. Pitture, Paesaggi, Persone" will be held at Antica Grancia di Serre di Rapolano, Siena, from 11 October 2026 to 10 January 2027. Curated by Daniela Ferrari and Riccardo Maria Balzarotti, the show delves into Pier Paolo Pasolini's exploration of landscapes and human figures. Located within the Complesso di Santa Maria della Scala, the venue supports various cultural projects. The exhibition emphasizes Pasolini's ties to his childhood home in Casarsa della Delizia. It showcases pieces created with unique materials, including Autoritratto con la vecchia sciarpa (1946) and Autoritratto Roma PPP. The initial room replicates his library with first editions and features audiovisual works like Pasolini e la forma della città (1974).
