Nedda Guidi Centenary Marked by 'Memoria lineare' at Scaramouche Gallery, Milan
On 1 October 2026, Scaramouche Gallery in Milan will unveil 'Memoria lineare', featuring the works of Nedda Guidi from the 1960s to the 1980s, sourced from private collections, including those in Milan. This exhibition is set to continue until 9 January 2027 at Via Vezza d'Oglio 14, marking the beginning of the centenary celebrations for the artist, who was born in Gubbio in 1927 and passed away in Rome in 2015. Guidi's inaugural solo exhibition took place in 1964 at Galleria Numero in Rome. Her artistic journey transitioned from delicate terracotta sheets to modular geometric structures. She also showcased her work at the 2024 Venice Biennale and the 2016 Biennale di Gubbio. The centenary events will feature the MIC in Faenza and Fondazione Mimosa's House in London.
