Il Musée Picasso di Parigi inaugura la retrospettiva su Kurt Schwitters 'Le chaos-monde, 1918-1948'
Dal 6 ottobre 2026 al 7 febbraio 2027, il Musée national Picasso-Paris presenterà 'Kurt Schwitters – Le chaos-monde, 1918-1948' presso 5, rue de Thorigny, 75003 Parigi. Questa mostra mette in luce l'opera dell'artista tedesco Kurt Schwitters (1887–1948), che fondò il movimento Merz. Schwitters, originario di Hannover, studiò alla Kunst Akademie di Dresda tra il 1909 e il 1914 e fu arruolato nel 1914, per poi essere congedato nel 1917. Divenne noto per i suoi collage e per il poema sonoro An Anna-Blume. Nel 1920 proclamò il Merz come movimento e nel 1923 lanciò la rivista Merz. Dopo aver lasciato la Germania, si trasferì in Gran Bretagna, dove nel 1947 creò il Merzbarn. Morì l'8 gennaio 1948, lasciando un'eredità che influenzò artisti come Robert Rauschenberg e Joseph Beuys. Tra le opere notevoli figurano Merzbild 25 A. Das Sternenbild e il Merzbau.
