Mouna Rebeiz's Tarot Installation 'L'indovino' Confronts Etruscan Divination with AI at Villa Giulia
The exhibition "L'indovino," by Mouna Rebeiz, is on view at the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia in Rome from 16 September to 29 November 2026. This installation showcases the twenty-two Major Arcana of the tarot as reflective surfaces. Curated by Roberta Semeraro, it revisits a work from the 2022 Venice Biennale, linking Etruscan prophecy—illustrated by Spurinna's warning to Julius Caesar—with contemporary AI decision-making. The exhibit references the Tomba François of Vulci and concludes in the Sala dello Zodiaco, emphasizing ecological sustainability. A digital aspect on Instagram will monitor interactions with the tarot. Studio Palinsesto handles technical design, while Atej Tutta directs Mythodea. For more information, call 06 3226571 or visit museoetru.it; open Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 to 19:30.
