MC2 Gallery Reopens in Milan with Bastiaan Woudt's 'The Shape of Absence'
After a four-year hiatus, MC2 Gallery has reestablished itself in Milan, now located at Via Pietro Maroncelli 7 within the Maroncelli District, sharing its space with Manuel Zoia Gallery. Director Vincenzo Maccarone highlighted the importance of collaboration while preserving individual identities. This venue aims to serve as a cozy gathering spot for artists, collectors, and curators. While Manuel Zoia Gallery will curate its own exhibitions, MC2 Gallery plans to showcase three exhibitions along with one collaborative display. The opening exhibition, 'The Shape of Absence,' featuring Dutch photographer Bastiaan Woudt, is set to debut on Thursday, 10 September 2026, and will be available until 27 September 2026. Woudt's photography delves into the human form using light and tonal contrasts. The gallery will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 19:00. More details can be found at www.mc2.gallery.
