• It features 81 photographs by Luigi Ghirri made during location scouting and production of Gianni Celati's first feature film, Strada Provinciale delle Anime.
• The photographs belong to Blu infinito, Ghirri's final body of work, created between 1989 and 1991.
• The images were shot between Ferrara and the Po Delta, including locations such as Migliarino, Contarina, Codigoro, Comacchio and Gorino.
• Ghirri (Scandiano, 1943 – Roncocesi, 1992) and Celati (Sondrio, 1937 – Brighton, 2022) first made contact in 1981.
• Celati published Verso la foce in 1989, and the film and photographic series emerged from the same exploration of the Po Valley.
• The exhibition keeps the film's audio playing during the photographic visit, creating an immersive dialogue between still and moving images.
