exhibition · 2026-10-01

The Collapse of Democracy, a solo exhibition by Italian street artist Laika, will be showcased at Rosso20sette arte contemporanea in Rome, commencing on 10 October 2026 at 18:00 and continuing until 14 November 2026. Curated by Team Laika, this event marks the artist's return to the U.S. after a nearly three-year hiatus. The exhibition comprises approximately twenty works that tackle themes of systemic racism, institutional violence, and environmental concerns, organized into three distinct sections. Notable pieces include Blood for oil and The flag for the oppressed. Laika, who has remained anonymous since 2019, rose to prominence with viral art in 2020 and was honored with the Art and Human Rights Award from Amnesty International in 2023. In February 2026, Laika performed from Barcelona to Sanremo.
